Returns and Refunds

 Changing your mind / Cancelling your order If you change your mind and wish to return the goods you have bought online, you can do so. If you are not happy with your purchase you have up to 7 days from the day you received your order to return it without penalty. The goods need to be in unused condition and in their original sealed packaging. You will be liable for the direct costs of returning the goods. All returned items are subject to inspection to ensure the items are suitable for a refund.

Damaged or wrong items at point of delivery When the courier company delivers your order you have the right to inspect your goods. If upon inspection you find that the item is damaged or is not the item you originally ordered, you can refuse the delivery. At your request, the right goods will be replaced and redelivered to you at no extra cost. Alternatively, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.

Defective Goods Defective goods are those that had a defect or were unsafe when we supplied them. A defect usually means that the goods were manufactured using materials, components or workmanship below an acceptable standard. You must prove that goods are defective. The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:

▪ faults resulting from normal wear and tear;

▪ damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product; ▪ damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;

▪ damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;

▪ damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product; and

▪ where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you

1. Standard Warranty on defective goods

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality please call us on 0118541420 or email info@honeybeeonline.co.za as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality, but not longer than 6 months after delivery of the product (except in the case of an extended supplier warranty). Where there is no extended supplier warranty period, unfortunately we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the 6- month period. Once we have logged the product return, we will request you to either:

Drop off the item at our retail store. There is no cost associated with this. Select a pick-up date and the item will be collected from you. We may charge a fee for this service. Any return of physical goods must include all accessories and instructions, and all original packaging that is still available. Returns that are sent back otherwise will have a 10% repackaging fee levied against them. If original delivery packaging is not available, please make sure the goods are in protective packaging as we are not responsible for any damage in transit. If the returning product item has not been packaged properly and is damaged, then we cannot give you a refund. It is your responsibility to package the item correctly. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product if possible, or refund you if that is your preference.

2. Extended Supplier Warranty (stipulated on product page)

A product may have a supplier warranty that extends beyond the 6-month Standard Warranty. If such a product turns out to be defective more than 6 months after delivery, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect (but within the extended supplier warranty period after delivery of the product). You can do so by calling or emailing us, and we will facilitate your return of the product to the supplier at a small charge. Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the extended supplier warranty period. Please note that any extended supplier warranty is subject to whatever terms and conditions the supplier or manufacturer may impose. These are usually stated in a brochure or leaflet inside or on the product packaging. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions. It is also important to note that it will be in the supplier or manufacturer’s discretion what remedy it can offer you. Honey Bee is under no obligation to provide you with a credit, repair / replacement, as your remedy lies with the supplier or manufacturer
